Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TRUSTGATE CORPORATE SKILLS ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you interact with this website, fill in our contact form, or register for a course.

1. What we collect

When you contact us or register for a course, we collect:

  • Identity data: your name and, where you provide it, your job title or organisation.
  • Contact data: your email address and phone number.
  • Content of your message: the inquiry, ticket replies, or registration details you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically for security and analytics.

2. Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up on your support ticket.
  • Process course registrations and payments.
  • Send you course materials, schedules and certificates.
  • Improve our services and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the contact form or register for a course) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving our training services. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Trusted service providers who help us deliver this website, email and payments (Pesapal for payment processing, our email provider for delivery).
  • Authorities or regulators, where required by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your support ticket data while the ticket is open and for a reasonable archive period after closure. Course registration and payment records are retained for the period required by Kenyan tax and accounting law. After that, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (e.g. country for pricing) and measure how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work as expected.

9. Contact us about your data

If you want to access, correct or delete your data, or have any questions about this policy, please reach out via the contact page or by email.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
